Presently, Hammond is Chairman of Centric Digital International where he is playing an active role in serving as a strategic guide to a small private digital strategy company as it pursues global growth. In addition to his role as Chairman, Hammond is President of Centric Digital in Australasia where he is leading efforts to identify customers and build a robust subsidiary in the region. Centric Digital’s clients include global corporations in the healthcare, finance, retail and media industries, as well as private equity firms, government entities, non-profits, start-ups and high-profile public figures.Centric Digital was named #34 on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing private companies in the country, as well as, #4 in Business Products & Services Companies, #1 in New York State and #1 in New York City.
Hammond is also the founding CEO and Managing Director of Seymour Associates Pty Ltd., a boutique consultancy where he provides holistic, practical, sustainable development leadership and governance support at the Board and CEO level to industry and government.
Hammond serves as a non-executive director for a variety of boards, a position he has maintained since 2006 where he leads this state-owned infrastructure business that provides power to regional Western Australia. Previously, Hammond added value as Chairman for the Dampier Port Authority during which time he led the critical transition of the port from a traditional owner-operated business to that of a gateway custodian, an effort that resulted in an expansion of the area of control from a few hundred square kilometers to approximately 950 kilometers of coastline.
Focused on meaningful cause-related work, Hammond also contributes his strategic and business acumen to the nonprofit sector. He is an advisory board member of the national YACHAD accelerated learning project and previously served as a consultant CEO to the Australian Children’s Trust. Hammond recently became an inaugural board member of Broome Future Limited (BFL), an organization focused on driving sustainable development of the Kimberley region of West Australia, which is expected to impact the future development of the Indian Ocean Basin.
In recognition of Hammond’s exceptional contributions to the growth, development and prosperity of regional Western Australia, he was selected as the West Australian Citizen of the Year in the ‘Governor’s Award for Regional Development’ category.
Hammond holds a diploma in extractive metallurgy. He has attended post-graduate programs at the Cape Town School of Business, London School of Business and Harvard Business School. Hammond resides in Perth, Australia with his wife; together they enjoy travel and outdoor pursuits.
