Once consumers grow used to getting something quicker, faster, or cheaper, they almost never want to go back to the way things were. As hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare professionals begin to implement Telehealth, that’s exactly what could happen to the traditional doctor’s appointment. 

A majority of Americans are already open to or approve of accessing their doctor through videoconferencing technology. If the past is any indicator, today’s medical professionals should start expecting fewer and fewer patients sifting through old magazines in their waiting rooms.
